Eco-Virtual Residency 

 

During this residency I have taken the time to continue my research and interest in water. Previously I have explored the surface patterns created by water through film and then projection. My aim for this week was to get to know the wild water sources close to me eg the Kelvin River. I am interested in how different a single body of water can look and aim to portray this is the way I edit my films; contrasting and comparing the varying shots in one frame. 

 

I wanted to use this opportunity to extend my knowledge of making and editing films. I tried to be creative in the editing process, producing patterns of my own and playing with the rhythm of the films.
